To an avid off-roader, there isn’t anything better than the crumbling of earth under off-road tires, the roar of a V8 engine or the thrill of adventure. Encompassing this same rugged enthusiasm is the new Sierra HD All Terrain X, a truck designed to explore and dominate uncharted territory with bold style. Equipped with special performance equipment and the latest technology, this model is the most trail-capable Sierra yet.

Stand-Out Design

Adventurous spirit meets pure brawn in the Sierra All Terrain X. Monochromatic Black Onyx or Summit White styling intensifies the Sierra’s look, adding body-color grille surround, door handles and moldings. The rest of the accessories, such as the 18-inch aluminum wheels, belt moldings, mirrors, front bumper skid plate, sport side steps and sport bar, are a stunning black hue. The truck also flexes Goodyear Duratrac MT-rated off-road tires for optimum traction.

Performance Dynamics

Under the hood, the truck has either a 6.0-liter gas-powered V8 or the new Duramax 6.6-liter V8 turbo-diesel. The gas-powered engine comes in at 360 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque, while the diesel powerplant takes output up to 445 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque. Both configurations offer quite a bit of payload and towing muscle, so you can take your weekend equipment and toys out with ease.

Other notable performance aspects of the Sierra HD All Terrain X include an eight-speed automatic transmission, ZL1 off-road suspension, an Eaton automatic locking rear differential and an underbody shield.

Additional Features

Those also seeking modern amenities and tech features will not be disappointed by the All Terrain X. Some of the truck’s standard offerings include: leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, leather-appointed upholstery, a rear view camera, front and rear parking sensors, a remote-locking tailgate, wireless phone charging and an 8-inch touchscreen with IntelliLink.
