The 2021 GMC Acadia is a stylish vehicle with three rows of seats. The Acadia, which is in the class of midsize SUVs, offers exceptional performance capabilities and a spacious, comfortable interior. There are some updates to both the SLE and SLT trim levels in 2021 and the Denali, which all now get Android Auto and Apple CarPlay in wireless form. There are many differences between the trims to note and some variations in power and amenities. The SLE and SLT are mid-level trims in the Acadia, while the Denali tops the line as the most extravagant vehicle in the series.

Performance

The SLE has a base four-cylinder engine that can crank out up to 193 HP. With the SLT, you have the option of either keeping that engine or getting a turbocharged four-cylinder engine instead of with an increased power capacity of 230 HP. The Denali comes with its own V6 engine. All trims have automatic transmission with nine speeds. When fully equipped, the GMC Acadia can tow a maximum of 4,000 pounds.

Appearance

The SLE and SLT trims have LED headlights and tail lights for a striking appearance. Chrome accents give their exterior a unique finish. The SLE and SLT trims have 18-inch wheels, but you can also upgrade to 20-inch wheels if you prefer. With the Denali trim comes some additional exterior enhancements, including an exclusive grille and 20-inch aluminum wheels with a custom finish. The Denali also has a hands-free programmable liftgate, which is a feature that is offered on the SLE and standard with the SLT.

Features

The SLE and SLT trims have many features, while you'll get even more with the Denali. The SLE has a seating option for either six or seven people. With the SLT comes leather seats in the first and second rows. You can also get captain's chairs in the SLT. An eight-inch infotainment display comes with the SLE and SLT. You will also get wireless Android Auto with Apple CarPlay. There are five USB ports for connectivity in the cabin, along with an onboard Wi-Fi hotspot. The Denali has heated seats in the second row as well. It also adds a wireless charging pad. A digital instrument panel is another standard item for the GMC Acadia Denali. All trims have forward collision mitigation, automatic high beams, and lane-keep assist.
