What's New For the 2020 GMC Canyon?

In 2020, the GMC Canyon comes with a commendable list of updates and improvements. This includes a remote locking tailgate, which is available for the first time. This year, the GMC Canyon also gets more standard safety features. Its improved safety comes in the form of a standard tire-fill alert, which is included in all trim levels. There are also some modifications to the list of standard and optional equipment this year and add-on safety packages.

The latest GMC Canyon is part of the second Canyon generation that debuted in 2015. While these features are new, the 2020 Canyon has tried-and-true features that consumers will appreciate, too. That includes a substantial towing capacity with multiple available engines such as a four-cylinder diesel and a powerful V6 gasoline engine. The latest GMC Canyon has precise steering and handling, which earns a nod of approval from consumers and critics alike, and maneuverable size. Its ride is also surprisingly comfortable and luxurious for a truck. Overall, the 2020 GMC Canyon ranks #4 among midsize trucks.

An infotainment screen is standard, and a 4G WiFi hotspot is available. The SLE is available in a special edition called the Elevation Edition. The All-Terrain has larger 17-inch aluminum wheels and an off-road suspension package.

Its infotainment system includes Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. This vehicle also has a driver-alert package and spray-on bed liner. The top trim, called the Denali, has rear parking assist sensors.
