The Hummer EV SUV is equally as impressive. It can handle rugged off-road terrain and moves swiftly for its size. Like the pickup, the SUV version is equipped with advanced safety and tech features and offers an estimated range exceeding 300 miles.
Veterans Experience the Hummer EV
A group of more than 30 veterans recently had the unique opportunity to test drive the Hummer EV pickup and SUV at a special event. The event featured Warrior Rising, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting U.S. military veterans with financial resources, mentorship, and partnerships. Both leaders and members of Warrior Rising gathered at the Milford Proving Grounds to drive the Hummer EV on both paved and off-road sections.
Veterans enjoyed the chance to experience the power and luxury of the Hummer EV. They also got to test the Watts to Freedom driving mode, which propels the Hummer from 0-60 MPH in only three seconds. This mode includes a thrilling 1,000-horsepower boost. The veterans also explored different packages available for the Hummer EV, including the Extreme Off-Road package, which adds underbody cameras, beadlock-capable wheels, reinforced skid plates, rocker protectors, and large 35-inch mud tires.
GMC's Support for Military Veterans
Although 30 veterans took part in the event, GMC's dedication to military veterans extends further. The automaker provides military discounts and focuses on hiring veterans as part of its ongoing commitment.
