2022 GMC Terrain New Features and Highlights

Up to four new exterior colors will be available for the 2022 GMC Terrain. You can also choose 18-inch or 19-inch alloy wheels with minor refinements for enhanced styling. All trims come standard with the GMC Pro Safety Package that gives you extra peace of mind on any road. Key highlights from this signature driving-assistance bundle include the Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, and Following Distance Indicator. Powered by LED, front headlights and rear taillights add distinct styling to this compact GMC SUV. You will appreciate the IntelliBeam technology that manages the front headlamps in low-visibility conditions. You can add the all-new Technology Package to the 2022 GMC Terrain AT4 and SLT trims. Additionally, Bluetooth, 4G LTE Wi-Fi, and Amazon Alexa are built into the next-generation GMC Infotainment System. Optional on the Terrain AT4 and Denali, a color head-up display keeps you informed on important information. This all-new HUD pops up just above the steering wheel for optimum visibility from the driver's seat. Under the hood, this two-row GMC SUV packs a 1.5-liter engine block that's boosted by a single turbocharger. Running on unleaded gasoline, the turbo powertrain delivers up to 170 total horsepower. Delivering slightly above 200 pound-feet of peak torque, the inline-4 engine employs the Variable Valve Timing technology. As in previous years, the 1.5-L turbo engine is paired with direct injection for high output at various RPMs. An automatic transmission system with nine gear configurations is synced with the robust powertrain. This user-friendly gearbox is compatible with an all-wheel drive and the Traction Select System. You could add steel skid plates to the GMC Terrain AT4 model for extra protection on off-road trails.
