The 2026 GMC Yukon is a large SUV with three rows of comfortable, spacious seating. The Yukon also has an upscale interior and a strong engine. If you're looking for a Yukon trim level that offers a bit more luxury, both the AT4 Ultimate and Denali Ultimate are great options. The AT4 Ultimate has more off-road capabilities, while the Denali Ultimate piles on the amenities.
Performance
The Yukon AT4 Ultimate and Denali Ultimate trim levels both come with the same standard powertrain configuration: a 10-speed automatic transmission paired with a 6.2L V8 that cranks out up to 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. You can also get a diesel engine for either trim level, a turbo V6 capable of 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque. Four-wheel drive is standard on both trim levels.
Appearance
The AT4 Ultimate features a rugged design with all-terrain tires, splash guards, a skid plate, unique wheels, and a roof rack cross-trails for carrying outdoor equipment. This trim also has a power liftgate for convenience.
The Denali Ultimate features an air suspension system for a smooth, composed driving experience. It also upgrades to larger 24-inch wheels. This trim is the most luxurious in the Yukon lineup and features upscale detailing inside and out for a polished all-around look.
Automatic high-beam headlights are standard on both trims.
Features
The AT4 Ultimate is designed for off-road handling without sacrificing occupant comfort. This trim is equipped with heated seats in the first two rows and premium leather seats in all rows. You'll also get a panoramic sunroof. A Bose sound system is included with the AT4 Ultimate, along with a rear entertainment system. USB ports are available throughout the cabin, including all three rows. A wireless phone charger, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a 16.8-inch touchscreen are also included with the AT4 Ultimate. This trim consists of the Max Trailering package.
The Denali Ultimate has a hands-free power liftgate for safer loading and unloading. It also has a power-adjustable steering wheel and a front center console that slides open. The Denali Ultimate upgrades to full leather upholstery, and both front seats are ventilated. The Denali Ultimate also has standard massaging front seats.
Both trims are equipped with a generous array of safety features, including blind-spot intervention, a panoramic camera, rear automatic braking, adaptive cruise control, automatic parking assist, and intersection collision mitigation.
